Bold navy ≈ a strong price for sellers · mid gray ≈ okay · lighter gray ≈ you’re leaving money on the table. Prices come from dealers’ own published sell-to-us prices via FindBullionPrices. FairBuyback isn’t paid by any dealer listed here.
Before you sell your 1 oz gold bar
- Generic bars usually fetch a bit less than government coins. Name-brand bars still in sealed assay cards (PAMP, Valcambi, Perth Mint and others) can fetch a little more.
- Keep the assay card or certificate if you have it. It makes verification faster.
- Dealers may test any bar. Bars without a known maker may sell for less.
- Get 2–3 quotes and lock your price on the dealer’s site or by phone before you ship. Prices move during the day.
